What does it take to work with Jes Care?

Working with Jes Care requires a can-do mentality. Our Carers are compassionate, passionate about work and good communication skills. Care experience is useful but not always relevant as during your induction you are provided with mandatory training. There is a requirement to have your own transportation and a flexible availability. However, if you are a driver and need access to transportation, that can also be arranged.

Job Overview
  • To provide leadership to the care staff within Jes Care Services Ltd
  • To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager
  • To supervise the care services within Jes Care Services Ltd in accordance with agreed standards
  • To maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain practices as up-to-date.
Location:
Jes Care Services Ltd, but you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice.
 
Working hours: 
5 days over a 7-day period, as agreed with the manager.
 
Roles and responsibilities
  • Ensure Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
  • To ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service and supervise staff
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
  • Develop effective working relationships with other employees within Jes Care Services Ltd
  • Work in cooperation with members of the multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service Users

Role specific

    • To organise and co-ordinate care delivery in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager and within the financial plans
    • Ensure that the care service is delivered to Service Users at the times and for the duration specified in the relevant individual agreement(s) and contract standards
    • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
Personal Responsibilities:
    • Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management
Job Overview
  • To provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the Senior Carer/Nurse
  • To support and enable Service Users to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual
  • To maintain skills at a current level, undertake such training and development as required from time-to-time to maintain and progress knowledge

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ensure Service Users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
  • To contribute to the efficient running of the service
  • Support Service Users to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community
  • Ensure Care Plans and other information about how to support Service Users are followed
  • Be responsible for informing the Senior Carer/Nurse of any changes in the needs of Service Users
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
  • Develop effective working relationships with other employees within Jes Care Services Ltd
  • Work in cooperation with members of the multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service Users
  • If desired by the Service User, maintain and develop relationships with family, friends and other people important in their life
  • Commit to achieving the relevant qualifications commensurate with the role
  • Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management
  • Understand and follow all policies and procedures relevant to the role
  • Be open to learning opportunities
